1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the RTJ Wellness website (https://rtjwellness.com), including all online courses, interactive tools, video content, blog posts, and services offered by RTJ Wellness (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing this website, creating an account, purchasing a course, or engaging in any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

2. Services and Offerings

RTJ Wellness provides wellness education and coaching through the following:

• Online Courses — Self-paced, paid digital courses available through our learning platform. Courses may include video lessons, guided exercises, downloadable resources, and certificates of completion.

• Free Interactive Tools — Browser-based wellness tools (such as the ABC123 Stress Buster and DGW Daily Planner) available at no cost. These tools run entirely in your browser; no personal data or inputs are stored on our servers.

• Video Library — Free educational videos hosted on third-party platforms (such as YouTube) and embedded on our website.

• Blog and Articles — Free written content on wellness topics, accessible without an account.

• In-Person Coaching and Workshops — Individual coaching sessions, public workshops, and customized wellness workshops for organizations, available both in-person and online.

We may add, modify, or discontinue offerings at any time.

3. User Accounts

Certain features of our website, including access to purchased courses and your learning dashboard, require you to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration.

• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.

• Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for unauthorized purposes. Account access is personal and non-transferable unless a course has been purchased as a gift through our designated gifting feature.

4. Course Purchases and Payment

All course purchases must be paid in full at the time of enrollment. Payments are processed through our secure third-party payment processor(s). Your enrollment is not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed.

• Lifetime Access — Once enrolled, you receive lifetime access to the course and its materials, including any future updates made to the course content.

• Certificates — Courses that include a certificate of completion will issue one upon successful completion of all required modules.

• Gifting — Courses purchased as gifts are subject to the same Terms. The gift recipient must create an account to access the course.

5. Refund Policy

Online Courses

Due to the digital nature of our courses, all sales are final once you have accessed any course content (including viewing any module, lesson, or downloadable material). If you have not accessed any course content, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by contacting us at hello@rtjwellness.com.

In-Person Coaching and Workshops

• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to be eligible for a partial refund.

• Cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled session or workshop are non-refundable.

• If RTJ Wellness must reschedule or cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances (such as illness or emergencies), you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

6. Free Tools and Content

Our interactive tools (ABC123 Stress Buster, DGW Daily Planner, and any future tools) are provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. These tools process information entirely within your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit any data you enter into these tools. Any downloadable outputs (such as text files or PDFs generated by the tools) are created locally on your device.

Free blog posts, articles, and embedded videos are provided for informational and educational purposes only.

7. Video Content

Our website features video content hosted by third-party platforms, primarily YouTube. Your viewing of these videos is subject to the terms and privacy policies of those platforms in addition to these Terms. We are not responsible for the availability, content policies, or data practices of third-party video hosting platforms.

8. Client and Student Responsibilities

When using our services, you are expected to:

• Use the website, courses, tools, and all content in a lawful and respectful manner.

• Participate fully and honestly in coaching sessions to maximize their value.

• Respect the time and effort of RTJ Wellness coaches by being punctual and prepared for in-person or virtual sessions.

• Understand that all services and content provided by RTJ Wellness are educational in nature and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or clinical treatment. RTJ Wellness and its coaches are not responsible for any medical, mental, or physical outcomes resulting from the use of our services or content.

9. Intellectual Property

All content provided through RTJ Wellness — including but not limited to course materials, video lessons, downloadable resources, interactive tool designs, blog posts, slides, recordings, certificates, branding, and website design — is the intellectual property of RTJ Wellness and is protected by Canadian copyright law.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, share, resell, or publicly display any RTJ Wellness content without express written permission. Purchased course access is for personal use only and may not be shared with others or accessed through shared login credentials.

10. Newsletter and Communications

By subscribing to our email newsletter, you consent to receiving periodic emails containing wellness tips, course updates, and promotional content. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in each email. We do not sell or share your email address with third parties.

11. Coach Credentials and Limitations

RTJ Wellness services are provided by qualified wellness professionals, including Rob Jetten (ACE Certified Health Coach, retired educator, and first aid instructor) and Darryl Urano (retired police officer with over 27 years of experience in law enforcement, leadership, and crisis response). While our services aim to support and improve overall wellness, they are not clinical in nature and should not be considered a replacement for medical diagnosis, mental health treatment, or professional clinical care. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please contact your local emergency services.

12. Limitation of Liability

RTJ Wellness provides its website, courses, tools, and content on an “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of our content for any particular purpose. RTJ Wellness shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website, courses, tools, or services.

13. Third-Party Services

Our website integrates with third-party services, including but not limited to payment processors, video hosting platforms (YouTube), email marketing providers, and analytics tools. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. RTJ Wellness is not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of our website or services shall be resolved in the courts of Alberta.
